We managed to get a family picture before church on Easter Sunday (Jax has his poker face on as usual). I'm so grateful for this time of year that we get to focus on the Savior - his life, his ministry, the Atonement and best of all, the Resurrection. Courtney and I recently got called to Sunday School teachers for the 14-15 year olds and so all this week I was trying to think about the lesson and what I wanted to focus on Easter Sunday. All week, I read talks and watched videos about the Savior but my favorite was the talk that President Thomas S. Monson gave called
'He is Risen'. I love that he focuses on the Resurrection because to me, that is what Easter is about, that Christ lives! I'm so grateful for this knowledge! I didn't end up sharing this talk (because I wanted to show a video and thought 14-15 year olds would get bored) so I showed the
Bible Video 'He is Risen'. Such an awesome video. So grateful for my Savior and what he has done for me and that I have the opportunity to live with him and my family again someday.
And the Easter Bunny came to visit!
Yum!
I feel like I say this every month that I blog but Jax is growing up WAYYY too fast! I feel like there is something new everyday and I absolutely love that I get to stay home with this guy. How did I get so lucky??? Here are a few photos from the last month...
LOVES bath time!
This is our new favorite thing to do...I give him a kiss.. (Lucy, he reminds me of Ezra in this picture for some reason!)
Then he gives me a kiss!
A new tooth!!!
I am trying to soak up all these moments because they go by way to fast! Happy 6 months big boy!
